Gary Noland

Gary has spent the last 25 years working in the property market as a broker, facilities manager, project manager, development manager and more recently as general manager and shareholder of one of New Zealand’s leading private development companies.

Gary’s property experience covers management, development and marketing of retail, residential medium density and high rise, mixed use developments, commercial office buildings and office parks, industrial, education, hotel apartments and hotels. Gary oversaw the start of the Viaduct Basin transformation in Auckland, was Development Manager for the award winning Domain Terraces mixed use development and has managed in excess of NZ$700m worth of development projects.Gary has recently completed the successful master planning of a $1.5b Regional centre.

Gary has an extensive network of local and International contacts and he remains active in the marketing of property in the UK, China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.

Gary is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, a member of the Property Council of New Zealand and an active member of the Council’s Compliance and Legislation Committee.

Michael Moore

Michael has 25 years professional and commercial experience.

For 10 years he undertook insolvency work, with the later years as a partner in a leading insolvency firm in Auckland.  During this time he worked on a number of tourism and leisure insolvencies.

Michael has been the CEO and Managing Director of a tourism and transport company located in Auckland and latterly the general manager of a hotel owning company which owned internationally branded hotels in the Asia Pacific region.  He has also undertaken specialist property related projects for hotels in NZ and the Pacific Islands.

Michael has sourced and developed low cost residential housing for a major New Zealand landlord as well as developing residential investment product for sale to New Zealand and offshore investors.

Andrew Gelonese

Andrew has over 22 years experience in the hotel industry having worked previously for a major Australian hotel operator. Throughout his career Andrew has been the operator’s representative on hotel development teams, has provided advice to developers and has opened and run 4 and 5 star hotels. He is skilled in advising on all hotel related matters including the structuring of the relationship between owners and operators.

Andrew’s particular speciality is undertaking comprehensive hotel operational reviews.  Through this process he identifies opportunities for financial and operational improvements.

Andrew has significant experience as an owner’s representative and currently advises the management of a 4 star hotel in New Zealand.

Andrew worked with Qualmark, New Zealand’s official tourism quality agency, and assisted in the development of the “Qualmark Exclusive” category. He was responsible for the initial assessment of some of New Zealand’s most exclusive lodge properties included in this category.

Andrew  has also  managed a number of high end residential developments and low cost housing  projects in Auckland.
